Endura Pakagilet Review

Endura Pakagilet ReviewThe Endura Pakagilet is one of the best vests you will find on the market. It is lightweight, takes very little space when packed and it is one of the few vests that allow you to easily access your jersey’s back pockets.

Made from a ultra lightweight and showerproof ripstop fabric, the windproof vest is durable and survived the many encounters with tree branches while riding the trails.

Endura Pakagilet ReviewThe fit is great, nonrestrictive, a bit on the roady side, forgiving, but not flappy, with a slightly lower back. The collar is high and the full front zip is covered with a flap so, no wind will pass through the zip. The armholes, rear neck side and the hem are all elastic and seal the vest very well. Unlike most of the vests I have tried, even some of the super expensive ones, no wind will be getting in through the back of the collar.

Endura Pakagilet ReviewThe other thing I liked a lot was the back mash panel, which allowed the extra moisture to escape from the vest, especially on some 10% climbs I did while wearing the Endura Pakagilet.

Endura Pakagilet ReviewAs far as reflective elements go, there are two on the shoulders, a reflective logo on the front and a horizontal stripe on the back, meaning you are covered from all sides.

Endura Pakagilet ReviewOne other thing I liked a lot was the rear pocket opening that allows me to access my jersey pockets without taking the vest off or lifting the back side up. Quite handy feature and I must say, not that easy to find on other vests.

The Endura Pakagilet comes in 4 colors including hi-visibility yellow. It is an essential piece of clothing that can be used from spring till autumn and takes a place with your other riding must haves like a spare tube, pump and water bottles.

Pros: Light, versatile, durable, excellent construction, full of features and reasonably priced

Cons: None

Value: 10/10 Highly recommended

You can get the Endura Pakagilet vest online at Amazon, Chain Reaction Cycles and ProBikeKit.

  1. Packs down into a jersey pocket and waterproof. Also has mesh back panel so you don’t overheat too much. I got the yellow version which is perfect for early mornings/ evenings.

  2. Got the Endura Pakagilet from CRC yesterday and I love it. I definitely suggest it, very good value for money. My only complaint is that the rear opening could be a bit wider to make it easier to access the pockets on the sides.
