Endura Singletrack II Shorts Review

Endura Singletrack II Shorts ReviewThe Endura Singletrack II are shorts that can take a lot of abuse, they are durable, well designed mountain biking shorts and are extremely comfortable.
Made from the Cordura® nylon fabric with Teflon HT finish, they are water repellent, can take a lot of beating and in bad weather they can keep you dry up to a point. I have not tested them in heavy rain yet, but they managed to repel all the moisture from road spray, mud and light rain.

Endura Singletrack II Shorts ReviewAs far as durability is concerned, they survived a pretty nasty fall in which they were full head on with a paved road and not a scratch. The stitching is excellent, all the seams double or triple stitched, so no worries here. All in all they are built to last.

As far as the fit goes, the Endura Singletrack II shorts are not supper baggy nor supper tight, they are a bit shorter then other shorts sitting at the knee and not below it. On the bike they felt comfortable and did not affect peddling on longer rides. Actually they are among the most comfortable shorts I have ever tried.

The built-in belt is very easy to adjust and all the Velcro straps are excellent including the ones at the knees which have the reflective Endura logos. A nice touch, but as far as visibility goes, these are the only reflective elements on the shorts.

Endura Singletrack II Shorts ReviewEndura also managed to put four or five pockets (depending on how you are counting) in the Singletrack II. There are 2 big front pockets with magnets to keep them closed, as you can see in the photo below. Something that I did not notice right away, was the hidden zip pocket inside the left front pocket, which was quite big and could easily fit a 4.3” smartphone among other things. On the back there are two “cargo” pockets with openings positioned on the side for easier access.

Endura Singletrack II Shorts ReviewThe two vents with contrast zippers and mesh inserts from moisture wicking fabric, which is also found in the waist area (the blue lining inside the shorts), are excellent when it gets a bit hot or you want a bit more comfort.

Endura Singletrack II Shorts ReviewAlthough they are ClickfastTM compatible, I have used them with other liners and even bib tights below. No matter how you wear them they are super comfortable and do not bother your riding.

Pros: Price, comfortable, durable, good looking, packed with features

Cons: None

Value: 10/10, Highly recommended
