CamelBak Podium Chill Water Bottle Review

CamelBak Podium Chill Water Bottle ReviewThe CamelBak Podium Chill water bottle is one of the best bottles we have used so far. The large opening makes filling the bottle as easy as possible and the innovative Jet Valve is just amazing. We have tested the 610ml version of the Podium Chill which was a somewhere in between the standard 500ml and large 750ml bottles like the Zefal Arctica.  As an insulated water bottle with a double wall construction we found that it performed as well as any other insulated water bottle keeping your drinks cold/worm for a prolonged period of time. You can expect up to 1.5 hours of moderately cold or not that warm drinks in warm weather and up to 1.5 hours of drinkable tea in winter depending the starting temperature of the drink.

CamelBak Podium Chill Water Bottle Review

Made from BPA-Free TruTaste™ Polypropylene, the plastic smell was not present even on the first day of use. The Jet Valve still remains the best valve we have used so far. It lets a good amount of water through, does not leak if you don’t squeeze the bottle and there is an useful locking feature that allows you to lock the valve for transportation.

The CamelBak Podium Chill is a superb water bottle and we highly recommend it. If you find the capacity of the Podium Chill a bit small, there is another 750ml version, the CamelBak Podium Big Chill.

Pros: No plastic smell, keeps your drinks cold/worm as any other insulated bottle, amazing valve, locking for transport, no leaks, lightweight and easy to squeeze.

Cons: None
