Scott Minus LF WINDSTOPPER Gloves Review

SCOTT Minus LF WINDSTOPPER Gloves ReviewThe Scott Minus LF WINDSTOPPER Gloves are not exactly mountain biking gloves, lacking any kind of palm padding, but came in handy in the temperature range between 10-20°C while I was searching for good winter gloves. The top of the glove is made from GORE’s WINDSTOPPER fabric which means it is stretchy, fully windproof and water repellent. On the palm you have the Clarino® synthetic leather like material with silicone print for better grip. On the side there is a small reflective element barely visible, but it is there.

SCOTT Minus LF WINDSTOPPER Gloves ReviewThe cuffs are made from Neoprene and have a single Velcro strap with a quite thin attachment to the other side. I expected it to tear very soon, only to find that it resisted well the stress of every day usage.

SCOTT Minus LF WINDSTOPPER Gloves ReviewOn the inside the upper part of the glove is brushed for better thermal insulation, while the bottom is not as you can see on the picture below.

SCOTT Minus LF WINDSTOPPER Gloves ReviewThe only complaints I personally have about the Scott Minus LF gloves are the low visibility / lack of reflective elements, on prolonged rides they made my hands a bit stiff due to the lack that there is no padding on the palm and that they were quite tight fitting when I bought them, but now they loosened up a bit.

Pros: Windproof, water repellent, comfortable

Cons: Very little reflective elements, no padding, lose their fit
